Starcraft – Broodwar Game Hack Password
The first map created to test the new ranking system was called Valicraft. Rainbow and Tasteless worked on the map together. Tasteless made the powersuits to look like the ones found in the movie G.I. Joe. They fought in a dual with each other.
Galactic War was the first map testable with Galaxy. It was the third StarCraft release and it was a huge hit for Blizzard. Some of the features of Galaxy included: Lightspeed pushing, Gravitic Fields, spawning and controlling units on the map, Pulsar beams, and Recall.
Galaxy proved to be so popular that Blizzard decided to switch from Warcraft II. It was considered tough to give Warcraft II up. The hope was that Galaxy could be a standards for all RTS games. Those running Warcraft III and StarCraft II would be able to run Galaxy as well. Nite~Wolf was tasked with learning the coding of StarCraft to be able to port Galaxy over to the sequel. While the mapping of the game was no longer a challenge, the coding and changes in the scripting language were.
LordIcon and Tasteless’s first project was the timing system. The fiddle and convenience of targeting units far away was not included in the original plan of creating a real time strategy game. They found that testing the timing system in game would force them to have a new, enlarged dev team. Unit performance would be calculated after the work of items were computed and the units were aimed.
Galactic War was left in the hands of Nite~Wolf to port it to work wirelessly. Galactic War was not ported due to his workload. StarCraft II had a few issues that Stardust Arcade Arcade stood still for. Starlancer could not be controlled when it was not in slow motion.
