Apart from the shortcuts, good CPU usage, and the new UI, they sold the new features as they were packing up the old ones. The old features could’ve been packed and had a new name. Also there’s no market in the presentation market so there is no reason for them to add the new visual tools. There is no reason to have those tools for the presentation market.

I very rarely save skins of my work. That boils down to save as new file, then relink the file with the old toolbar and workspace.
